4/29/13 - A West Bloomfield Township police officer from Livingston County who was killed in the line of duty will be honored during tomorrow nightâs Tiger game at Comerica Park. Patrick OâRourke of Tyrone Township was killed last September after responding to a domestic-violence call. The 12-year police veteran will be honored Tuesday before the Tigers play the Twins. $10 from each ticket to the game will also be donated to help build the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington D.C. The game is scheduled to start at 7:05pm, but pregame ceremonies begin at 5:30 and will feature a display of area police cars in front of Comerica Park on Witherall Street. OâRourke is survived by his wife Amy and four children. Youâll find details through the link below. (JK)
