7/25/13 - An event next month will use golf to help raise funds for the organizations that help local families in need. The Hartland Firefighters Association Annual Golf Scramble will take place on Sunday, August 18th beginning at noon. The event, organized by the firefighters of the Hartland-Deerfield Fire Authority, will raise money for the local Disaster Assistance Response Team, the Livingston chapter of the American Red Cross, and local families who have been hit by disaster. The cost is $70 per person and $280 per foursome. That include 18 holes of scramble golf, lunch and dinner, a special event hole, prizes, raffles, and awards at the end of the event.
