8/1/13 - A Lansing man charged with two Brighton-area bank robberies is heading to trial. 42-year-old Todd Bradley White is charged with multiple armed robbery counts for the holdup of the PNC Bank in Brighton Township on March 18th and the April 26th robbery of the First National Bank in Brighton. He waived his preliminary exam Wednesday in 53rd District Court, sending his case to circuit court for trial. In both of the Livingston County cases, police say White brandished a gun, jumped over the counter and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. White, who reportedly confessed to the Livingston County bank jobs, has a lengthy criminal record dating back to 1987 when he was convicted for assault with intent to rob. White and three co-defendants are also facing bank robbery charges in Ingham County for hold-ups in Stockbridge and near Williamston. (JK)
