8/19/13 - State Police from the Brighton Post are searching for the driver of a sedan that hit a Brighton bicyclist Saturday in Hartland Township. Authorities say a 40-year-old Brighton woman was riding her bicycle northbound along Old U.S. 23 near Bergin Road at about 6am Saturday when she was hit by a car believed to be a 2001 or 2002 Chrysler Sebring or Dodge Stratus. The driver did not stop after the crash. Itâs believed the car has front passenger-side bumper damage and is missing the passenger-side mirror as well as other damage. The woman was transported to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor and treated for her injuries.
