11/22/13 - Local high school students are invited to get creative for a good cause with the Livingston County United Wayâs annual campaign video contest. Every year, teams of students create videos between two and five minutes long that will be featured on the United Way website, YouTube, and social media as a way to tell the story of the organizationâs work in the community. Instructions for the contest say the videos should focus on the organizationâs results in financial stability, community wellness, and the Every Child Ready program. Videos must be submitted in mid-April, and a winner will be announced the following month. Last yearâs winning video came from a team of students from Fowlerville High School, and the year before it came from Hartland. (TD)
