12/3/13 - Local residents will face off on the dodgeball court this week to raise money to fight drug abuse. The 2nd annual Dodging Drugs Charity Dodgeball Tournament will take place on Thursday at the Pathfinder school in Pinckney. It is being sponsored by the Pinckney Coalition and the student-led initiative It Stops With Students. The event is divided into three different tournaments for middle school students, high school students, and adults. Admission to the tournament cost $30 for each student team and $60 for adults teams, with all the proceeds going toward programs to promote a drug-free environment and support local families in need. Spectators will be admitted for free. Last-minute entries to the dodgeball tournament are still being accepted.
