12/4/13 - No charges will be filed in the death earlier this year of a pedestrian in Tyrone Township. 50-year-old Daniel Hogan was killed September 26th as he walked along northbound Old US-23, north of Faussett Road, and was struck from behind by a car driven by a Fenton man. Livingston County Undersheriff Mike Murphy tells WHMI says their investigation revealed Hogan had drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of the incident. Per procedure they forwarded their report to the prosecutor's office for review, which declined to press charges. The 65-year-old Fenton man who was driving the car that hit Hogan said he didnât see him until it was too late. (JK)
