2/1/14 - A Pinckney man is heading to prison after sending hundreds of inappropriate messages and photographs of a sexual nature to a 12-year-old girl. 35-year-old Aaron Michael Fourment was sentenced in two cases in Livingston County Circuit Court this week. In the first, he was ordered to serve a minimum of three years and seven months and a maximum of ten years in prison. He earlier pleaded guilty to accosting a child for immoral purposes from March through August of last year, as well as distributing obscene matter to a child and two counts of communicating with another on the internet to commit a crime. Police say he sent inappropriate messages and sexual photographs to a friendâs 12-year-old daughter on Facebook, which were discovered by the girlâs parents in late summer. Fourment was also sentenced in a separate case related to an incident on September 3rd of last year. He received one year behind bars for his guilty plea to possessing the controlled substance hydrocodone, and time served on separate counts of receiving and concealing stolen property, and having a stolen license plate on his vehicle. The cases run concurrent and Fourment is required to register as a sex offender for the next 25 years. (JM)
