2/20/14 - A complete redesign of the City of Howellâs website is in the works and the focus is on customer service. Council members met earlier this month and voted to proceed with soliciting proposals from experienced firms to redesign, develop, and implement a new a website for the City. The goal is to create a user-friendly, website that is easily updated, searchable, and responsive to viewing on a computer, tablet or mobile device. City Manager Shea Charles says some information might be taken from the existing website but would include significant input of new information and features, as directed by the City in collaboration with whatever the firm selected. Charles estimated that the proposals should be received and back before Council within six to eight weeks. (JK)
