2/26/14 - Green Oak Township is working to connect with the community and seeking input from residents as part of a lengthy process to update the municipalityâs master plan. A master plan provides guidelines for zoning and land use within the township and by law; must be updated every five years. Residents are being encouraged to complete an opinion survey regarding growth and development in the township but also offer input via a mapping tool called community remarks. It serves as an online forum for gathering comments regarding specific areas of the township and residents are able to post comments on a map regarding environmental quality, road improvements and residential growth among others. All of the information and responses gathered will help aid the Planning Commission in developing the Master Plan update. Links to access the opinion survey and community remarks can be found below.
