11/21/12 - Longtime First National Bank leader Dennis Gehringer has announced his retirement effective at the end of the calendar year. Gehringer began working for First National Bank in Howell in 1969 at the age of 15 as an errand boy. He climbed his way up in the bank to become senior vice president in 1989, a position which he holds to this day. Gehringer says he is proud of his work and the people he has been able to help in his 44 years with the bank. He also volunteers with the Livingston County United Way, the Salvation Army, and St. Josephâs Church. An open house will be held in his honor on Tuesday, December 4th from 4:30 to 7:30pm at the bankâs headquarters on Grand River in Howell. Friends and partners are encouraged by the bank to attend and congratulate Gehringer on his career and retirement. (JK)
