8/16/14 - A Wisconsin man facing local criminal charges after being accused of molesting his grandchild is headed for trial. The 68-year-old man is charged with a single count of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct involving a person under the age of 13. That charge is tied to an alleged incident last summer. Hamburg Township Police investigated the case and the man is not being named per WHMI policy to protect the alleged victim, who has been identified as the manâs grandchild. He remains held on a $150,000 bond in the Livingston County Jail. Records show that a plea offer was placed on the record in Livingston County Circuit Court during a hearing Friday and that the defendant would be proceeding to trial in September. (JM)
