8/19/14 - After record-setting rains last week, another round of potentially severe weather and storms were in the forecast. The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw and other surrounding counties early in the day, which expired by 7:30pm. Livingston Weatherwatch Meteorologist John Feerick said the worst threat for damaging storms locally would be the evening commute, which appeared to be the case. A flash flood warning was also in effect until 10pm for a portion of southeast Michigan, including Oakland and Washtenaw Counties.
