9/13/14 - A Green Oak Township employee who wears many hats has been recognized for his work behind the scenes to improve the educational system of a respected organization. Robert Brandmier has worked in both the public and private sectors and served as the assessor for several large assessing units in Oakland and Wayne counties before coming to Green Oak. He moved from a contract employee to full time and currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Supervisor. Brandmier is considered a Level IV assessor and recently received the 2014 Education Award from the Michigan Assessing Association for his many years of teaching. Green Oak Supervisor Mark St. Charles tells WHMI Brandmier brings a wealth of knowledge to the municipality. He says the award is a huge recognition of Brandmierâs abilities to improve the educational system for the MAA and his narrative appraisal report has been used to teach one of the associationâs writing classes.
