9/18/17 - Several families were left without a roof over their heads after an apartment fire last night in Fowlerville. The fire was reported before 8pm in the apartment complex located off of Fowlerville Road at Van Riper, across from the Wal-Mart. The Livingston County Chapter of the American Red Cross reports that a total of eight families were left homeless due to the fire. They were provided emergency shelter and other temporary assistance. There are no reports of any injuries. However, firefighters responding from the station in downtown Fowlerville were reportedly delayed by a train in their response to the fire.
