9/23/14 - Motorists traveling along US-23 in the Green Oak and Northfield Township areas could experience traffic back-ups this week. There will be a single lane closure on southbound US-23 between 6 Mile Road and N. Territorial Road for pavement repairs on Wednesday. The left lane will be closed between 10am and 3pm. Then on Thursday, there will be a single lane closure on southbound US-23 between 8 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road, also between 10am and 3pm. The Michigan Department of Transportation is encouraging motorists to slow down and watch for traffic backups during those times. (JM)
