12/21/12 - The unfavorable weather yesterday led to crashes throughout the day, including one significant crash in the city of Howell. Commuters reported a multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial truck that occurred at around 6:30 last night. It took place at the intersection of M-59 and Michigan Avenue north of downtown Howell. The intersection was cleared for traffic by road crews by 7:30. It is not clear at this time whether there were any injuries. The Michigan Department of Transportation reminds motorists to pay careful attention while driving during inclement weather and that limited visibility may require drivers to move at a speed below the posted limit.
