12/22/12 - A lawyer for a man suspected in a shooting spree that targeted motorists along the I-96 corridor in Livingston and surrounding counties says there's nothing new in the fresh charges announced in the case. Defense Attorney Charles Groh says the charges announced Thursday against 43-year-old Raulie Casteel of Wixom are based on the same allegations made by Livingston County authorities. Groh says Casteel is scheduled to appear for an arraignment next Thursday on the seven newly filed counts, including terrorism. They came three weeks after Attorney General Bill Schuette announced he was taking over cases at the request of prosecutors in Livingston, Ingham and Shiawassee counties.
