1/22/13 - A free seminar this month aims to teach local business owners how to sell their goods and services to the local, state, and federal governments. âGovernment Contracting 101â is being offered by Ann Arbor SPARK and the Brighton, Hartland, and Howell chambers of commerce. The seminar is being hosted by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center, an organization designed to provide businesses with information on acquiring state and federal government contracts. County Purchasing Agent Roberta Bennett will also attend the meeting to discuss opportunities to contract with the county.
