2/8/13 - The Oakland Livingston Human Service Agencyâs annual fundraiser to help local families keep the heat on this winter will take place on Saturday. The 23rd annual Walk For Warmth will take place at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center building on M-59. It will start at 8:30 tomorrow morning, and a kickoff will take place at 9:00. Participants have raised pledges for the event and will walk laps around the interior of the building to raise funds. 100% of the money raised by the event will be used by OLHSA to help low-income Livingston families maintain heating in the winter months. The event will be emceed by WHMIâs own Buzz Elliott. OLHSA will also take the opportunity to recognize the five Livingston Area Rotary Clubs as the the winner of its Team of the Year award. The recognition is awarded each year to a group of community members who support OLHSAâs mission throughout the year. (TD)
