3/15/13 - The Howell Public Schoolâs Board of Education has given Superintendent Ron Wilson top grades. School board President Mike Witt tells WHMI that Wilson met or exceeded all expectations during his annual review, which was held in closed session. At the top of the boardâs list of positive achievements were several new educational programs being introduced to the district, including recently approved flight-school and firefighter training, which are expected to be exclusive to Howell students. Witt says that with such a good review, an extension of Wilsonâs contract would be expected, likely at an upcoming meeting. Wilson came from the Cass City Public Schools in Tuscola County in April 2010 to become Howellâs superintendent. (JK)
