12/15/13 - A Pinckney man has pleaded guilty to sending hundreds of inappropriate messages and photographs of a sexual nature to a 12-year-old girl. 35-year-old Aaron Michael Fourment pleaded guilty as charged to accosting a child for immoral purposes from March through August of this year, as well as distributing obscene matter to a child and two counts of communicating with another on the internet to commit a crime. Police say he sent inappropriate messages and sexual photographs to a friendâs 12-year-old daughter on Facebook, which were discovered by the girlâs parents in late summer. An agreement reached with prosecutors stipulates Fourment receive the maximum sentencing guideline on three of the counts, but serve between 43 months and 120 months in prison on the internet communication charge. In a separate case related to an incident on September 3rd, Fourment also pleaded guilty as charged to possession of a non-narcotic controlled substance - second offense; receiving and concealing stolen property, and having an illegal license plate. The cases will run concurrent and both plea deals call for a 25-year sex offender registry requirement. Court records show that Fourment again lists a Pinckney address, and no longer Novi. Heâll be sentenced in Livingston County Circuit Court January 30th. (JM)
