11/18/12 - The Milford Police Department is investigating a 2-vehicle crash early Saturday that took the life of a Milford woman. Police say a vehicle driven by the 38-year-old Milford woman collided with a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old White Lake woman on Milford Road, south of General Motors Road in the village of Milford. The two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions in the apparent head-on collision. The Milford woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the White Lake teenager was transported to Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills for treatment of non-threatening injuries. Police say there was dense fog in the area at the time of the crash; alcohol is also suspected as a contributory cause of the accident. The names of the two women are being withheld pending further investigation. (TT)
