3/18/14 - A man who managed the 2012 campaign of U.S. Congressman Kerry Bentivolio says the Milford Republican still owes him money. Grosse Pointe Park Attorney Robert Dindoffer says Bentivolio hired him as a full-time campaign manager in May 2012 but his job was eliminated five months after the election in April 2013. Dindoffer says he didn't receive his full compensation and Bentivolio owes him $154,000 in monthly fees, expenses and a bonus he promised to pay. Dindoffer filed suit Monday in Oakland County Circuit Court, which names the congressman and two campaign committees as defendants. Bentivolio won the House seat in November 2012. A spokesman from his office called the whole thing a "contractual dispute." (JM)
