4/14/14 - Two firefighters were injured fighting a barn fire in Howell Township late this afternoon. Fire crews were called to the scene of the fire around 4pm off Oak Grove Road, between Barron and Marr roads. They were reportedly injured when one firefighter fell from a ladder onto the other. The firefighter who fell was taken to the hospital by Survival Flight, and the other was taken by Livingston County EMS. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening, and they are expected to recover. Several other local fire departments assisted at the scene. (JK/TD)
