8/21/14 - After days of searching the St. Clair River, a local manâs body was finally located. The St. Clair County sheriff's department says its dive team recovered the body of 19-year-old Brady Morton of Fenton Township, who disappeared during the annual Float Down event on the waterway that runs through the U.S.-Canadian border. According to officials, Morton was floating with a group of about 40 people Sunday when he left his raft to go swimming. His friends say he never came back. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says divers located Morton's body about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon using an underwater camera. He says they spotted it about 45 yards off shore from Port Huron in about 26 feet of water. Donnellson says investigators will conduct an autopsy Friday. (JK)
