2/6/13 - An indie rock band from Flint featuring a Fenton High School graduate is currently leading a statewide battle of the bands competition organized by Hard Rock Café. The band AllDay MonDay includes Fenton alum Michelle McAuley on drums. Their single “Crane” is currently the top vote-getter for Hard Rock Rising Detroit, an online competition that includes 250 Michigan bands and music artists. The winner will get $10,000 in new equipment and a chance to perform in a world tour of Hard Rock Café locations. The winner will also get to create a music video and a studio album. Votes can be cast by clicking “like” on Hard Rock Detroit’s Facebook page and downloading “Crane” free of charge.
