7/11/13 - A third generation realtor is now a three-time Realtor of the Year. Carol Griffith was named the 2013 Realtor of the Year by the Livingston County Association of Realtors at its general membership luncheon meeting Wednesday and tells WHMI sheâs humbled by the honor. The Realtor of the Year is chosen based on specific criteria including spirit and activity in civic affairs, the local, state and national associations as well as business and educational experience. The honor was previously bestowed on Griffith in 1983 and 2005. Griffith is a third generation realtor and the co-owner and Vice President of ERA Griffith Realty. The Brighton high school graduate is a lifelong county resident and has served on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since 2009, and is the current chairwoman. Also honored during yesterdayâs luncheon was Terry Gill, who won Volunteer of the Year and Mark Light for American Home Shield, which was named Affiliate of the Year. Photo Credit George Moses. (JM)
