2/21/14 - For those area hockey enthusiasts who have been deprived of watching live hockey during the Olympic break, a hockey game tomorrow in Brighton will feature some retired Red Wings players while benefiting three local charities. The Detroit Red Wing Alumni Association will be taking on The Well Church All Stars Hockey Team during a family friendly game at 1pm at the Kensington Valley Ice House. This marks the 5th year of Hockey Night in Brighton and one of those who will lace up the skates is former NHL star and current broadcaster Mickey Redmond, who will be joined by several others, including Joey Kocur and Petr Klima. There will also be family friendly activities and a chuck-a-puck contest. Tickets are $10 at the door with proceeds split between Stiggyâs Dogs, The ARC of Livingston and Shop With a Cop. (JK)
