3/17/14 - Economic development projects that marked significant investment in Livingston County last year will be highlighted during a new luncheon event this Friday. The Livingston Regional Investment Awards Ceremony will highlight the six largest investment projects that took place in 2013 - $10 (m) million in improvements made to Mt. Brighton by Vail Resorts; the new Livingston County Spencer J. Hardy Airport terminal and John E. Labelle Livingston County Public Safety Complex; the I-96/Latson Road Interchange; the Wellbridge of Brighton project and the re-development of the Brighton Mall. The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce will host the event this Friday, March 14th. Chamber President/CEO Pam McConeghy says thereâs a lot to be proud of in Livingston County. She says the community at large, business owners and anyone interested in celebrating the investments or hearing about the projects is encouraged to attend the luncheon. The keynote address will be delivered by Michael A. Finney, President and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
