3/6/13 - The 14th annual student art exhibit, GOT ART, returns to the Howell Opera House this month to showcase the artistic talent of students of all ages in the county-wide event. GOT ART is an annual program of the Livingston Arts Council highlighting the art of students from Livingston County. Last year, more than 2,000 people viewed the approximately 900 pieces of art that were received from 36 teachers across the county, including Howell, Brighton, Fowlerville, Kensington Woods, and Pinckney. Event organizers say theyâve invited 51 art teachers this year, including those at the new Flex Tech High School in Brighton. The GOT ART exhibit opens to the public March 19th for two weeks at the Howell Opera in downtown Howell. Admission is free. Pictured are 2010 participants Jayme Mannor (left) and her sister Andrea.
